DU vacant seats 2023: Delhi University has released several lists of DU vacant seats 2023 for CSAS  DU Admission. The DU authorities will conduct the DU UG Admission based on the number of DU Vacant seats 2023. The Merit list of DU has been announced for Delhi University-associated colleges such as LSR, Gargi, Hindu, Hansraj, and others. DU Vacant Seats 2023 List

The University of Delhi released the 1st List of Vacant Seats 2023 List on 1st August 2023, on the official website i.e. admission.uod.ac.in.Candidates who weren’t admitted in the first round may apply in the second round of counselling.

According to the varsity’s data on the DU First Merit List 2023, 2,02,416 qualifying candidates were considered for allocation in the first round based on their program and college preferences. A total of 2,02,416 people are evaluated for initial seat allocations based on their first selections. Approximately 22,000 individuals have been awarded a seat based on their top five choices. A total of 85,853 assignments were made on the DU First merit list in 2023. Candidates will be allowed if they accept the assigned seat between August 1 and August 4.

DU Vacant Seats 2023 Date

DU released the list of vacant seats for CSAS Round 2 admission available on 7th August 2023. The first allocation list is set to be released on August 1. Candidates who were unsuccessful in getting accepted in the first round may apply in the second. The has stated that for the forthcoming academic year, it would hold three rounds of seat allocation for undergraduate programs.  Classes for these programs will begin on August 16. Through Phase two of the undergraduate admissions process,  candidates are able to choose their chosen majors and colleges.

How to Apply for Vacant Seats in DU

According to DU officials, Candidates must complete the verification procedure must be completed by August 5th, and the payment deadline is August 6th (5 p.m.). After paying the fee, students can choose between “upgrade” and “freeze” options. If a candidate is satisfied with the seat they have been allotted, they can “freeze” their enrolment and will not be considered for future allocations.

The university would provide individuals who were admitted to undergraduate programmes a two-day window starting to upgrade to their higher-preference “programme+college combination. Candidates who applied in CSAS Round 1 may choose to “upgrade” and reorder their Higher Preferences. The university will announce the results of the Central Seat Allocation System’s second round (CSAS Round-II) on 10th August.

According to the data, only one or two seats will be available for applicants in many of the courses during the second round of seat distribution at famous colleges like Hindu and Miranda House on Delhi University’s North Campus.
